Well I just lived for 6 months in KSA and in my experience one cannot compare it with INDIA. KSA is ruled by king. So it will be like you can imagine working under a boss and following the good and bad rules he created for you. if you are non-arabic speaking guy you will face problems when you go out. if you are a person who likes clubbing, movies or any kind of entertainment stuff, then you feel like you are in prison ( of course some countries you may find these entertainment system in prisons. i mean you got what i said ). Rules are same for all expats whether you are Muslim or  Non-Muslim. For a Non-Muslim, outside you are not allowed perform any religious prayers. Wages will be less when compared to KSA citizen( even if he not competitive enough compare to you). You can never get citizenship of KSA.

I will list down some of my observations :

INDIA VS KSA

High rentals

Cheap Fuel

No Taxes

Very Less Public Transportation

Higher Salaries

Clean Roads

Less Traffic

Organized Health System

Shopping malls

Arabic FOOD

No Movie theaters  and No public events

Strict Rules

No help in or around public offices for Non-Arabic people ( even in airports)

I lived in 2 major cities of INDIA (HYD & BLR) and all my comparison is based on that experience .
