ladakh is cold desert whereass sahara is hot desert

Sahara desert is known as hot desert.Ladakh is known as cold desert.in sahara the temperature may rise upto 57 degrees.The whole regions less than 7.6 cm of rainfall.

but ladakh is cold desert.The temperature in winter season is less than -40 degrees and in summer the temperature is less than 27 degrees it is covered with snow when these snow melts they get water.
