Answer:

Solid is the state in which matter maintains a fixed volume and shape; liquid is the state in which matter adapts to the shape of its container but varies only slightly in volume; and gas is the state in which matter expands to occupy the volume and shape of its container.

Answer:

Solid

1.Its atoms are closely packed to eachother so it is rigid

2.As it's atoms are close they conduct electricity and heat

3.Their intermolecular space between atoms is so small so they can be compressed

Gases

1.Its atoms move random in free space of intermolecular structure, so they don't have Th shape and are not rigid

2.As it's atoms are far away they can't conduct both electricity and heat

3.their intermolecular space between atoms is queit large so they can be easily compreessed

Liquid

They come in between the properties of gases and solid
