THE TIME PERIOD OF SIMPLE PENDULUM IS

t = 2\pi  \sqrt{l \div g}

for the first pendulum l= 1meter so using it into the formula

taking g = 10 over here

t1 = 2\pi \sqrt{1 \div 10}

for the second pendulum l= 12meter using it into the formula

t2 = 2\pi \sqrt{12 \div 10}

Now dividing t1/t2 we have

t1 /t2 =

 \sqrt{1 \div 10 \times 10 \div 12}

t1/t2 =

1 \div 2 \sqrt{2}
