Question:

How are synthetic fibres produced to make fabric?

Explanation:

Synthetic fibres are produced from chemicals.

1. The chemical substances are melted by heating them.

2. They are forced through spinnerets that have fine pores.

3. The long threads formed are allowed to cool and solidify.

4. These threads are twisted to form yarn and the yarn is used to make fabric.
