poet:  Robert Frost.

The poet was very well of.  He had a lot of friends.  This poem is about the life of his friend Philip George Thomas, who was a poet too.  Thomas was married and not very decisive in his selections.  He was indecisive regarding career etc.  When the question of enlisting for fighting in war, he was hesitating.

To encourage him to join the war, Frost wrote this poem.
