LCM of 14 and 16 = 2×7×8 = 112

  \implies\frac{8}{14}  =  \frac{8 \times 8}{14 \times 8}  =  \frac{64}{112}

 \implies \frac{7}{16}  =  \frac{7 \times 7}{16 \times 7}  =  \frac{49}{112}

Since, 64 > 49.

 \therefore  \frac{64}{112}  >  \frac{49}{112}
