In natural habitat : if the tiger was in its natural habitat, that is forest, it would be roaming freely around the forest. It would hide behind the long grass where the deer ( which is its prey ) comes to drink water. It will be hiding near the houses in the border of the forests and terrorise the residents of the village

in zoo: The tiger does not show any interest in its surroundings. It is locked in a cage and it was not able to show its power to the viewers. At night, it will be gazing at the stars and hears the voice of patrolling cars.
