In Sri Lanka the policies favoured the Sinhala speaking community due to which the shrilankan Tamils felt alienated. The leaders of Sri Lanka adopted majoritarian policies. This led to civil war in srilanka.
But these was not incase of Belgium the leader adopted equal rights for the citizens. They amended there Constitution 4 times to prevent civil war ..
