compare wind power and power of water flow in respect of generating mechanical and electrical energy what is the hindrance in developing them

power of wind helps in generating electricity in a neat n good way but not more faster than a power of water flow,wind energy not has an easy access to generate it needs good availability of air, land to establish, water plant is easy to establish near the river rich of water but needs access from avoiding the destroy of crops near it n also should have access from government on this issue.
