in solids particles of matter are closely packed, in liquids the particles of matter are less tightly packed as compared to solids, and in gases the particles of matter are least closely packed

Solids have a fixed shape, liquids take up the shape of the container in which it is kept, and it is the same for gases

Solids cannot flow, liquids can flow, gases can flow more easily than liquids

In solids, the volume reamins same, in liquids too the volume remains same, in gases the volume can change depending on the container in which it is stored

In solids the force of attraction between the particles is strong, in liquids this force is weaker than solids, and in gases this force of attraction between the particles is the weakest

That is all, hope it helps.
