>The first big difference is India is Multi-party system and has Parliamentary form of government while US has Bi-party system and has Presidential form of Government.
> The general public vote to select their Prime Minister,while in US its for President.
> Candidates that run for office are selected by top leaders of a party in India.While candidates are selected by supporters and members of a party.
