OESTRUS CYCLE :-

1. In non primate mammals like cows, sheep, rat, deer, dog, tiger, etc,. cyclic changes during reproduction are called oestrus cycle.

2. no bleeding take place.

3. copulation takes place only during oestrus cycle .

4. it is also known as heat period.
