when we keep a magnet on a paper there are magnetic field lines on the paper which can be shown by keeping some iron fillings on the top of the sheet and at the below the magnet when the iron fillings are drawn with the shape of the magnet magnetic field lines in the magnetic field lines near to the magnet will have strong magnetic field and the magnetic field line from the magnet will have weak magnetic field in fact there are nuclear points where there is no magnetic field
