As per definition no scriptural authority had been acknowledged to call Hindu as a peaceful and in search of truth.

Vivekananda was far specific so he believed in authority of Vedantas.

He believed in spiritual superiority of India.

Being theist is basic necessity according to Vivekanada's definition of Hindu.

Gandhiji believed Atheism allowed in Hinduism.
