Hope you are doing well. How are your classes going on? Did you celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi?

Here, we had a great time celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi. At school, our seniors made some clay models of Ganesh. These idols were kept for sale and the proceeds were contributed to an NGO for the welfare of their inmates.

At home, we had a puja both in the morning and in the evening. We bought one of the newly introduced eco-friendly Ganeshas in the market. They are filled with vegetable and fruit seeds to help in the cultivation of these plants when they are immersed in water. Amma made some sundal and modaks as prasad. They were quite yummy. Finally, we had a common puja in our apartment complex in the evening. Each family contributed Rs.500/- and we bought a huge 5’ idol.
