Subject :- Choked Drains and water logging.
Respected Sir ,
Please allow me to use some space in your own newspaper to highlight the present conditions. The rainy season has only just started. It has exposed the claims of the government about its preparation. In fact, this year seems to be the repeat of what we suffered last year. My worry is that it might become worse with the passage of time.
Water logging has made life a hell. The problem is that the water remains stagnant long after it has stopped raining. Water-borne diseases like Malaria are already troubling the people. We cannot blame the government alone, the people are also responsible. Through your esteemed paper, I request the people of Delhi not to throw the garbage on the road. The government can also do its bit by banning the polythene bags completely.
