Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Complementary angles that not do from a linear pair.

To find:-

Reason ? Justify the answer ?

Solution:-

Yes, Its true statement.

We know that

The sum of two angles is equal to 90° are called Complementary angles.

Let the angle be X°

Then, it's complementary angle = (90-X)°

It is clear that both angles are less than 90°

X° < 90° --------(1)

(90-X)° < 90°----(2)

We know that

The sum of two adjacent angles is equal to 180° are called linear pair.

From (1) and (2)

Sum of the two angles is equal to 90° not 180°

So, They do not form a linear pair.

Answer :-

Complementary angles that not do from a linear pair.

Example:-

Let the angle be 40°

It's Complement = 90°-40° = 50°

They do not form a linear pair

40°+50° = 90° ≠ 180°

Rule :-

The two angles must be adjacent i.e. they are either side of a common ray and their sum must be 180° then they form a Linear Pair.
