Given :

  • Ratio is 2:3
  • Complementary angles

To find :

  • Value of the angles

According to the question,

Let the ratio be 2x and 3x &

Value of complementary angles is 90°

→ 2x + 3x = 90°

→ 5x = 90°

→ x = 90° ÷ 5

.°. x = 18°

Value of 2x :

→ 2x

→ 2(18)

36°

Value of 3x :

→ 3x

→ 3(18)

54°

So, the above answer is True..

_________

Verification :

→ 2x + 3x = 90°

→ 5x = 90°

→ 5(18°) = 90°

→ 90° = 90°

.°. L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, verified..

Given that,

The complementary angles are in the ratio 2:3 that is (36° and\:54° ).

To find,

&#x21AATo prove whether it is True or False.

We know that,

The two angles whose sum is 90° said to be complementary.

Solution:-

Let the given two angles be 2x\:and\:3x

A/Q

&#x21AA2x+3x=90°

&#x21AA5x=90°

&#x21AAx=\frac{90}{5}

&#x21AAx=18°

Therefore,

The first angle will be,

\longrightarrow2x=2×18=36°

And the second angle will be,

\longrightarrow3x=3×18=54°

Hence Verified that,

&#x21AA2:3=36°\:and\:54°
