(A): Metal oxide reacts with acids to produce water and metal salts, when white calcium oxide react with sulfuric acid it produces bubbles of water vapor, when the reaction is over no solid is leftover because calcium sulfate (CaSO4) is soluble in water.

(B): Aluminium sulfate react with sodium hydroxide to produce sodium aluminate, sodium sulfate and water. This reaction takes place at a temperature of 900-1000°C.
