Place your compass point on C and swing an arc from A to B point below the line of AB . You will be drawing at least a semicircle.

step-2. Stretch the compass larger.

step-3. Place the compass point at the A point where the arc crossed the line on one side and make a small arc below the line AB.

step-4. Without changing the size on the compass, place the compass point on the B point where the first arc crossed the line on the other side and make another arc. Your two small arcs should be intersecting.

step-5. Using a ruler, connect the intersection of the two small arcs to point C.
