Mechanizm of breathing:-
1.Breathing of freash air:-Inhalation.
2. Exhaling out air:- exhalation.
*Inhalation:- When air rush into the lungs diaphragm pulls down and ribs raised.
* Exhalation:- When air is forced out diaphragm returns to its normal size and ribs also constracted.

Inspiration (breathing in) The diaphragm contracts and moves downwards. The intercostal muscles contract and move the ribs upwards and outwards. This increases the size of the chest and decreases the air pressure inside it which sucks air into the lungs
