1) 2x+3x+4x=360°
⇒9x=360°
⇒x=360/9
⇒x=40°
2) x+2x+3x =180°
⇒6x=180°
⇒x=180/6
⇒x=30°
And ΔABC is a right angled triangle as one of its angle is 90°(3x)
3) The other two numbers are (x-1) and (x+1).
4) The next odd number is (x+1).
5) Three consecutive even numbers are (x-2),x,(x+2).
6) The three consecutive numbers are x,(x-1),(x-2)
Their product=(x)(x-1)(x-2)
=(x²-x)(x-2)
=x³-2x²-x²+2x
=x³-3x²+2x.
7) Sum=(2x-1)+(2x+1)+(2x+3)
=6x+3
8)Given P=1000,T=6 and R=C %
S.I=(PTR/100)
⇒(1000×6×C)/100
⇒Rs.60C.
9) Let the number be 'x'
By the problem, x(1/6)=13
⇒x=78
Therefore the number is 78
10) Let the number be 'x'
By the problem,x-5=11
⇒x=11+5
⇒x=16.
Therefore the number is 16.
