I think it should be 3, 1, 9, 1, 27, 1, 81, 1, 243, 1, 729and so on because 3 is multiplied with 3 and the result is third no. that is 9 and then 9 is multiplied with 3 and the result is 5th no. that is 27, then 27 is multiplied and the result is 7th no. 81...and 1 is multiplied with the no. third time after it and result each time is 1.
