CaCO3(s)→CaO(s) +CO2(g)

Result : When a solid Calcium Carbonate is heated strongly in a test tube. A colourless and odourless gas Carbon dioxide is evolved which turns lime water milky and has no change of potassium dichromate paper and a white residue of Calcium Oxide is left behind in test tube.
