Answer:
It was freezing cold night at midnight on Christmas morning I had just returned home from my midnight stroll in the icy cold. I stepped onto my drive way and there I was meet with a family, a mom dad and 3 kids all there noses were rosy red frozen fresh tears stained the children's cheeks torn clothes i could see they didn't have a place to sleep. I asked them if they'd like to stay but there father said no they were just coming to ask for spare change, I gave him all the money out of my wallet and he looked at me surprised I told him they should stay even if it was just for a night i told him it was cold and everything was closed so finally he agreed, the children's eyes filled with glee i let them in and offered them all something to at they looked at me with glances filled with wonder and question but i just smiled. I went to the kitchen and gathered all the food i had cooked for today later when i celebrated Christmas all alone on this day i set up the table and brought out the plates all of there eyes widen as there noses filled with the smell of every food you eat on Christmas day. Before we ate we all held hands and prayed thanking God for our special day. After dinner we cleaned and put all the rest of the food away. I showed them to there rooms where they will stay i gave them clean clothes that i had stored away just in case after a shower they prayed and instantly slept the night away i waited until all of them were peacefully sleeping before I laid down preparing for tomorrow just thinking it will be a great day. when I awoke that very same day the house was dead no giggles no play I felt the eerier silence and my joy faded away i ran into the rooms and all around the house sadly there was no one to be found, but when I turned around there was a note that I founded telling me of how this was just a test to see how many people would help one another in a time of need to see how far people are willing to go to see someone else smile and succeed, to help someone in need. The news paper hit my door and in it i read about a family who had starved and froze to death because no one was willing to help , then i finally understood they were angles that came to see if there were any good people left on the earth.
