Malti was new in town. She had not made any friends yet. She spent most of her evenings at home. It was raining hard one evening. Malti looked out of the window and saw a little girl standing under the shade of a tree, she was scared of the rain and could not think of moving out of the shadow of the tree, nervously the girl starting looking here and there for help, but no one was to be seen. Malti could not stop herself from helping her, which is why she grabbed two umbrellas and stepped outside the house, and starting moving towards the girl. Looking at Malti, the girl became very much happy which was clearly visible on her face as she gave a big smile to Malti.
Malti went closer to the girl and opened the other umbrella to help her, the girl took the umbrella and stepped out of the shadow of the tree. They greeted each other and then Malti invited the girl to her house.
Together they went inside and Malti then offered some clothes to the girl for her to change. In the meanwhile, the girl was changing, she prepared hot chocolate for the girl. When the girl came back all dried up the two of them sat on the couch in front of a heater and had hot chocolate together.
Malti then asked the name of the girl, for which the girl replied that her name was Tammana. Then they talked for quite a while and Tammana thanked Malti for the help, and just like that Malti got her new friend in town.
