Hello Anu!!
Rakesh was the posthumous child of Raju and Seeta. His father Raju had passed away while Rakesh was still a small toddler...
His mother Seeta was now reduced to being a poor widow, and she was finding it extremely difficult to make both ends meet. She was one of those thousands of widows who faced humiliation from the society's people and the villagers around her used to cast aspersions on her and his young son. They were even intent to Burn Seeta alive on her husband's funeral pyre, but, still she managed to escape from the wrath of the villagers and fled to a remote place with Rakesh, her only son..'
Seeta wanted her son to grow up and become a wealthy man, so that their future generations would never have to go to bed with an empty stomach...
She always told Rakesh to become a great man and study well for the same..
But Rakesh turned out to be a sporting guy. He was more interested in playing games than in studying and learning up his lessons. His teachers were also concerned about his poor grades and carelessness but somehow he always managed to pass in his annual examinations...He knew that he needed to achieve something great for his mother but at the same time didn't feel like studying hard. Every evening he would drink 2 glasses of milk and start his exercising session. He often called his friends too and gradually ended up in becoming a great teacher and teaching other boys of his age the correct way to do exercises..Once an NGO had come to his village and that is what was a turning point in his life..The NGO gave wings to his dreams and agreed to provide financial support to his family...
He started pursuing his dreams of becoming a tennis player and played at the statle level too. He won a medal and soon became a budding player too! but soon his mothers' helath worsened and he was forced to earn money...he did his matriculation and somehow managed to get a degree. But when he sat for his job interview he failed miserably because of his inability to speak english...
However he once helped a villager to catch a bunch of smugglers who had infiltrated into India from Pakistan..He used his wit and caught the criminals red handed. The police was impressed by his bravery and pitied on him for his being poor, He agreed to give hima job as a police constable and there were tears of joy in Rakesh's eyes...He had finally got a job and slowly his fellow mates began respecting him for his nature and wit. His mother's treatment was also done but she passed away soon enough...those were the dark days in his life...But he learnt one lesson that hardwork finally pays off at the end...He never knew how to give up in his life and kept making slow but steady progress. Whenever hardships came across his way, he faced them boldly and lived his entire life like a free bird...
Hope that helps you sissie! Please mark as brainliesttt!!
