Yesterday i saw 5 mean running at the back of my house. "Come on, hurry up before they see us!", one man exclaimed. Running as fast as they could, these men ended up at my back door.
I had been looking at the entire thing from my bedroom window, as the policeman had tried to catch them but couldn't.
As they ended up at my place, i thought of not opening the door, but i knew it all along why these good men were about to get caught and sent to jail, or worse, sent back to their country.
Ouglahuma and Ackens had come all the way from a village far away, from an under developed country, to come live the American dream, but since their visa expiry, they had been running away from the police.
I opened my door, and let them enter my basement, as once again i hid them in the secret room, and lied to the police about their whereabouts. In my opinion, they to, deserved a chance at living.
