B2H6 + 2NH3 → B2H6.2NH3

diborane combine first in B2H6.2NH3

then

convert borazole or inorganic benzene

e.g

3 B2H6.2NH3 → 2B3N3H6 +12 H2

here B3N3H6 is known as inorganic benzene

B₂H₆ (Diborane) is at gaseous state at room temperature. It is colourless & pyrophoric gas having sweet odour .The reaction of Diborane with ammonia is given below

3B₂H₆+6NH₃→2B₃N₃H₆+12H₃

                       Borazine

We see that when diborane reacts with ammonia it results two product namely borazine and water. The temperature required for the above reaction is 180°C-190°C.
