C6H5CH2OH + NaOH------> C6H5OH +NaCH2OH

Acid + Base ----> Salt + Water

So, here C6H5CH2OH is called as Benzyl alcohol or phenol methanol.
So here phenol methanol acts as a acid and react with NaOH

C6H5CH2OH + NaOH -----> C6H5CH2ONa + H2O

So A= SODIUM BENZYLOXIDE
B=WATER
