The Answer is Option C, 19.

The given sequence is 13, 16, __, 22.

We see that, there is a common difference.

Let the unknown term be x.

16 - 13 = 3

x - 16 =?

22 - x =?

We can solve in two ways.

First, We consider common difference is same between 2, 3, 4 terms.

From this, We get

x - 16 = 22 - x

2x = 16 + 22

2x = 38

2x/2= 38/2

x = 19

So, x comes out to be 19

Other method is, We found difference between 1,2 terms is 3 and expecting that it stays same

We have,

x - 16 = 3

x - 16 + 16 = 3 + 16

x = 19

Or, We have

22 - x = 3

22 - 3 = x

19 = x

Therefore, The missing term is 19.

Among the given options,

A. 17

B. 18

C. 19 ✓

D. 20
