Raman was walking all alone in the dark night when suddenly he heard dogs barking highly. He looked around, searching for the source and observed that the barks were subsiding slowly, and he started to follow the barks. Slowly, he began to hear the light barks, maybe of pups.
Few meters away, he saw that someone had killed the parent of those pups. He felt terrible for them, and slowly took them into his hands and took them to his home. He placed a bowl of milk in front of them and watched them silently drinking the milk. His memory flew to the incident where his pet dog alerted him about the robbers and lost its life in that process. Suddenly, he felt some wetness on his hand and found those new pups licking his hand, wiggling their tails as an act of thanking him.
He fell in love with them at the very moment, and promised himself to take care of them for the lifetime, caressed their heads saying "Welcome to the family, lifelines!".
