It was a rainy day. It was pitched dark outside. I was alone at home. My parents had gone out for shopping. Suddenly someone knocked at the door. I got up and headed downstairs to see who it was. I reached the door and looked through the peep hole. It was Sunita. I had invited her over to my place as I didnt want be alone all evening. I opened the door and let her in. Sunita is my girlfriend.
I opened the door and let her in. She hugged me and I returned the favour with a kiss.
"You're looking so good, even in those wet clothes." I said.
"Thanks." She replied.
I said," let's get you some of my sisters clothes, you don't look very comfortable in the soaked ones and also if you got a cold, your mom will kill me."
She says okay, so I went in and got her some of my sister's clothes. I showed her the way to the bathroom and went in to stir up some coffee. The phone rang while I was pouring the coffee into the mugs. I picked up the phone .
Hey, it's me Sunitaa. I'm so sorry I can't make it to your house. The rain is torrential. I'm ......." I dropped the phone as I felt the cold steel of the knife slice through my back to my chest and that's where it ended. In searing pain.

With all my will power I went down and asked..who's their? no response came I went back and suddenly it knocked again my heart began beating faster I looked outside through the door hole their was no one outside. Again door locked this time I decided not to go and ask or see. I went up then suddenly knocking became fast. I got my goosebumps then I again went down and slowly slowly...door was opened. I asked in my scary voice...who's there? No response came and suddenly sparkles fell on me and a loud noise came happy birthday ...I had forgotten that today is my birth day. My all friends decided this scary surprise. It was my craziest and scariest birthday ever. When I asked them..why u all were knocking my door so hardly?they all told we didn't knocked we all came in just now without knocking. I was again in confusion. That evening was the scariest evening!
