suddenly .... the current cut off. my heart beat started to raise and began to sweat due to fear by the terrible darkness . when i moved to switch on the light , suddenly television got switched on. and music played in high volume. by seeing all these , i was confused and didn't know the reason why all these happened. suddenly a voice came from one corner of the room, and at the same time the mobile started to ring . i moved to pick up the call . when i was about to pick up the call , the lights flashed and i could hear a voice shouting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" . then i got to know that my friends surprised me. only then i remembered that the day was my birthday as i forgot due to debate practices . my parents including my parents brought a cake to celebrate my birthday. immediately color papers were thrown and i thoroughly enjoyed. but there came an obstacle behind my birthday. that was.... due to this celebration i failed to practice .but even i had a confident that i can prepare. the within an hour i prepared for my competition and gave my best on the stage. therefore, i consider this as my best day .

  THE MIDNIGHT VISITOR

The night before the zonal debate competition everyone was fast asleep,  while practicing for debate competition .Suddenly I heard someone banging on the door. At first, I thought who it could be, but then I remembered that my sister had gone for a reunion party and thinking that I  reached the door. Somehow, I sensed that there was more than one person and I peeped through the key hole. I couldn't see anything. Then I thought of waking our servant up my dad because he was the man who was scared of nothing When I went to his room and saw his bed empty, I realised he had gone to mumbai on work for the weekend. Nevertheless, I didn't lose my calmness and took my grandfather's rifle from his almirah which was fully loaded with 5 bullets and halted towards the door.

As I opened the door I moved my gun rapidly and saw a small boy standing at the door in his vest and shorts.i was thankful that i didn't shoot him. , He worked in one of the tea stall near my house and since his master was illtreating him he wandered in the streets. When he couldn't walk anymore, he knocked at my door. I wasn't sure if he was truthful,and thought he can be a thief. but when i saw his innocent face i realised that 

he was telling truth and i let him in to sleep in one of my sofas in the drawing room.

Next morning when i woke up, my mother was shocked to see a boy on the sofa. At once she called me and i explained her the episode which happened yesterday. Though i got scolded by my mom for not informing her about this situation. At last my mom decided to enrol him into a well know orphanage in my town and that he would also get free education. At last i realised that how this incident can help me for the debate on topic child labour. this is how I won the zonal debate championship.
