Hello there,

Once upon a time, the lion, the king of the forest, was celebrating his birthday. All the animals and birds of the forest were to participate in the grand fuction. The problem in the jungle was that there were frequent encounters of illegal hunters which frightened the animals. The lion was a good ruler and a big critic of animal poaching. Many of his own relatives had been killed or captured and tamed in circuses. He was praying for no attacks that day. All the animals liked him as he was a strong leader and protected animals. He had even discovered many hiding places for animals to use during natural or man made disasters. All animals had made arrangements for the b-day celebrations and were waiting to welcome the chief guest - lion. Suddenly some hunters arrived there. They started shooting on the animals and on the same time the lion appeared. He leaded all the animals running fastly to the hiding places helping small animal kids and old animals in the way. Because of his witty acts, nobody was injured. When the men left, all animals partied whole night. And for the lion, he was a hero, an inspiration and omniprotector of the jungle.

Answer:

Once upon a time, the Lion, the forest's king, was having his birthday. The grand function was to include all of the forest's animals and birds. So the Lion instructed his best friend, the wolf, to go around the forest and invite everyone to his birthday celebration. The wolf agreed and compiled a list of all the animals and birds who would be attending. Then he went to the centre of the forest and summoned everyone under the massive Banyan tree.

"My dear fellows, today is the birthday of our king, the Lion," he declared loudly. You are all invited to the grand ceremony. Please come."

After the wolf had left, the wise rabbit stated, "I will not attend the function."

The macaw inquired as to why.

"It is the Lion's party that eats animals," the rabbit explained. If we attend the party, he may eat us as part of the feast."

Oh yes! The rabbit is right. Even I am not going." The giraffe stated.

All of the animals refused to attend the function one by one.

"If you animals don't go, neither will we birds," the crow said.

"Why?" inquired the rabbit this time.

"If you animals do not come, the Lion will become hungry and may eat us out of desperation."

"Yes, yes, we won't go," all the birds agreed.

All of the animals and birds returned to their respective homes. By hiding behind a tree, the wolf had secretly heard everything.

By hiding behind a tree, the wolf had secretly heard everything. He also decided not to return to the Lion because the Lion might eat the wolf if he ran out of food.

On his birthday, the lion had to sleep with an empty stomach!
