"You can never run! Even if you did,you will never be able to win a race"said Keshavan to Uma Pillai. Uma got irritated hearing these harsh words from Keshavan. Keshavan was always a critics in Uma's Career and he was jealous also because Uma always tried her best to be a fastest runner. But these bitter words of keshavan proved a miracle and moral booster for Uma. Uma worked very hard in field and gym and participated in all kinds of competition like Distrtict, State and now she was participating the National games and she made her family and herself proud by achieving so many laurals in athletics. After so much efforts and practice, with an experience of five years and scores of medals later,Uma was now ready for Olympics. On the basis of her performance in National events, she was selected for Indian Olympics team and she kept her pace in the Olympics too and won Gold medals in 100 mtrs. 200 mtrs and 800 mtrs. events.
