The night was dark and dreary. I was returning home after my football practice. I felt that a shadow was following me. As i turned back I saw nothing. I felt someone was definitely following me and hence walked slowly and carefully.
Again after sometime, the same happened but this time I was aware and immediately caught the person behind me. The boy tried to run away but couldn't escape. I learned from him that he was trying to steal my bag because he has been starving for two days.
Somehow I believed his words and felt bad for him. I gave him my wallet which had some money and asked him never to steal again. He was surprised and promised to be a better person.
