complete the story there was a strong breeze
Answers
Answer:
There was a strong breeze, that shook and rattled the windows of the house. The breeze soon turned to a powerful gust of wind that shook and banged the doors in the house.
Rain slowly started to pour on the red soils of the earth. Claps of thunder could be heard in the distance. The rain became heavier and heavier every minute. Dark clouds settled on top of the houses. The sky slowly began to darken.
It was not yet 6:00PM, how could it be so dark?? I sat at my window on the second floor and watched the rain pour down. Lightning struck a pole close to our house. Shrieks and screams could be heard all over the house. I had seen lightning strike right before my eyes.
The gusts of wind became more powerful by the minute. I could see the Browns running into their living room and getting onto their knees to say their prayers. I considered this for a minute but I thought it would be better if I just ran down to the basement.
Lightning struck again and this time it hit our house. I let out a scream as I realised that it had hit my room. My curtains were on fire. Slowly my desk caught fire. I could not do more than just gape at the sight before me. My mouth was dry and it seemed as though I was stuck on my spot. For God's sake my room was ablaze and I could not move. My eyes finally opened and I realised why I could not move. My bedroom banister was on top of me. I let out the most bloodcurdling scream i could before I passed out.
