It was raining heavily that night. I still remember it. It was odd. Because it was peak summer. I wanted to play outside but the rain ruined my plan. Thankfully, since I was home I could see my mother for those extra few minutes before she left the house. The last time I ever bid her good bye.” Raina reminiscied about that night with a glistened eye.
“Do you know where was she going?” Sameer asked.
“She had told my grandfather that she was going out and she would be home by 10 pm. She didn't give any more details.”
“What happened then?”
“We waited that whole night. In the morning my worried grandfather went to the police station and registered a missing complaint and well that's it.”
“What did she do for a living?”
“She was a fashion designer. Was? Never used that word for her. I had hope all these years that one day she would definitely be back. It was one of the reasons I came into the police force. I wanted to find out what happened to my mother. But well, with all the cases and all I never came around to work on it and now there is no hope. She obviously isn't alive.“

“Meanwhile, Sameer find out what was Shivam Malhotra's father involved in during May 1998. There is a high possibility that this party was thrown by him. If it is, I want the location. Also find out what is the connection between him and and Nalini.”
“Done.” Sameer said and turned around to head out along with Raina.
