Eighth standard final examination was over. Like every year this year also Ram went to his native place to spend his summer vacation with his grandparents. That day he had dinner with his grandparents. Then they went to bed.
Around 1 o’clock he heard some kind of whispering. He was suspicious. He peeped out from window. And he saw two unknown persons wearing mask were whispering near their house. He was sure that they were thieves.
Without making noise he grabbed his grandpa’s phone and immediately dialed number 100. Grandparents were unaware of all these activities. They were fast asleep. Suddenly they awoke with the noise of police van siren.
Ram immediately opened the door and approached the police and pointed at the thieves who were about to run away. The police immediately grabbed the thieves and took them into their custody. By the time all neighbors had gathered there.
The police inquired about the person who had called them. Ram came forward. The police and everyone admired Ram’s daring and presence of mind.
