1. Rajeev and Hemant are two brothers who loved doing things together and studied in the same school. One day, on their way back from school, they heard a cry, a piercing cry of some animal in pain. They decided to investigate and found that there was a small kitten trapped in the window of a kitchen. Though they did not know the owner of the house, they still decided to help out the poor animal. They pried open the stuck window and pulled the animal to safety. After some inquiries, they found that the kitten belonged to no one in particular. So, they took the animal home, named him Kitty and decided to adopt it themselves. And that is how they gained a pet animal.
2. Dinkar is an 8 year old boy who worked in a cracker factory despite the government's prohibition of child labor. He had been sold to work in the factory by one of his uncles for a small sum of money. Even while working, he never stopped wishing for education and would often try to teach himself how to read and write. But despite his wants and wishes, he could never get anything right.
One day, a young lady came to the factory looking to buy crackers when she saw that there were some young children working in it. She asked to be taken to the manager of the factory and told him that she would like to buy twenty boxes of crackers. But to their surprise, she had called the police and reported a case of child labor. She was from an NGO that prevents and saves children from such cases. The police arrested the manager of the factory and rescued 20 children from the place. All of them were sent to a safe place and put in a residential school, thus fulfilling Dinkar's dream of studying.
