In a quadrilateral all angles sum up to 360°

the angle adjacent to 90° = 180° - 90° = 90° as they from a linear pair.

∴ 70° + 60° + 90° + x = 360°

x = 360° - (70° + 60° + 90°)

x = 360° - 220°

x = 140°
