ANSWER :

= ( √2x ) ^ 2 + 2 × x × 1/2 + ( 1/2 ) ^ 2 -

( 1/2 ) ^ 2 - ( 1/2 ) ^ 2 - 4 = 0

= ( √2x + 1/2 ) ^ 2 = 4 - 1/4

= √2x + 1/2 = √( 15/4 )

⇒ x = √15/2 + 1/2 = √15 + 1/2 ÷ √2

⇒ x = 1/2 - √15/2 ÷ √2

⇒ x = 1 - √15 ÷ 2√2..
