Given : Equation => (1/3x-1/4y)+3/4yi=-3+5 i

To find : Real values of x and y

Solution : Comparing the left-hand side real part with the right-hand side real part, we get

x/3 - y/4 = 3 ....(1)

Again, comparing left hand side imaginary part with right hand side we get

3y/4 = 5

From this we get value of y

y = 20/3

Substituting value of y in equation (1)

x/3 - 20/12 = 3

x/3 = 3 + 5/3

x/3 = 14/3

x = 14

Hence, real values of x and y are 14 and 20/3 respectively.
