A component is separated from codebase when for the advantage of the software design a monolithic code base is needed. The term codebase is defined as the whole body of source code but for a software program or application and the source code can also be called as a program which are written by programmer and they save as a file.

"Component is separated from "codebase" when the "repositories" becomes unmanageable and complicated. The separation must be done without impacting any change to the existing environment as they are connected to codebase.

Codebase is a code written by the human and it is simple and can be used for programming. It is a source code file. It is based on the project, they are been used."
