Excited and ecstatic exclusively

It’s all about trip to heavenly

Place called Leh, highest valley

In India, with my lovely family

White sheet of snow laid completely

The view from our high flight flying

In-between the hills lying peacefully

Gripping us all to land desperately

A place at whooping 11, 480 feet

Everything looks splendid & a treat

For us and for everyone indeed

The nature is surely at its best

Stream of pure & clear snow water

Flowing along with us throughout

Climbing hills & narrow roads onward

Crossing passes & nearing a paradise

A lake risen from no-where, just like

Atlantis, a vast blue crystal lake

Sense of calmness and composure

Crawling into your soul unhurriedly

Buddhist flags flown high over

In the streets and in the palaces

A hymn carved over each colored one

Representing blessedness in all

Army at every corner intact

Protecting and preserving high atop

Border & civilization irrespective

Of extreme cold or condition unlivable

Every inch of this magnificent place

Is moments created for beyond I say

A place of total serenity undoubtedly
