I walked to the untamed brush reaching out to me. I carried a full backpack almost twice my size containing food and clothes. There was a small barely visible path that seemed to never end. There was assess the feeling of something hiding from us but it was also ready to confront us. The brush loomed over my head preventing me from seeing what was in front of me or behind me. The cold air and sand made it even tenser. We kept on going but the path seemed to go on forever without end. As we continued I was finally able to see rays of sunlight peeking through the small openings of the size of baseballs, with each setup the openings grew. The sunlight seemed to burn away the dark looming brush over our heads driving away the uncertainty
