Material used for Tomb of Akbar  are mostly red sand stones (composition is quartz) which is a sedimentary rock and white marble (composition is recrystallised carbonate)which is metamorphic rock.

It has mostly evergreen and deciduous vegetation.
It has channel and drainage system for water  water harvesting. it also protects wildlife. you can find many wild animals in the vicinity.

Effect of pollution :
The colour of marble has changed from which to yellowish due to pollution.
even sandstones are eroding due acid rains.
