He has played in Barcelona since his professional career as a soccer player started. Also, Messi is Spanish as well too; because he has lived in Spain for aver five years and therefore he got his Spanish citizenship. This was also the same year that Messi was able to make his debut in the Spanish first division league, and also winning the league along with other great players like, Ronaldinho, Deco, and Eto’o, etc.
